Sorry about that LG, I'll change my post to reflect your, uh, manliness.

I'm not sure why I thought you were a girl, probably got you mixed up with a different poster.

Sorry you had such a sucky experiance. But, honestly, rarely is a trip to wal-mart anything short of a pain in the tookus.

And, uh, I thought Lingering Grin was a guy?

That's funny, coz here in SA, girls go into the same (toilet and changing) cubicles together, and no-one raises an eyebrow. Mind you, if guys were to do it, then I think eyebrows would be raised.
    Why is that?

Perhaps I'm a little biased ... but, guy-guy stuff is icky and girl-girl stuff should be filmed.

Seriously, tho, dressing rooms should be one-to-a-customer. Keep it simple, keep it fair. 'Cause you really don't want people going into the dressing rooms, regardless of gender/species combinations, and doing "things".

I'd make the employee apologize to the both of you.

Then, fire the bitch, on the spot, in front of you and your mother.

Seraphim, that is what disturbed me about it when it happened, and why we didn't try to correct her. I mean, what would be the point?Hell, her manager didn't even know which point to address first. Even if the ignoramus wasn't wrong about the type of relationship between me and my mom, her comment still would have been wrong. I would guess that her proudest achievement in life was that she managed to hit the "Fail" branch several times after she fell off the evolutionary tree.

I was trying to resist this kind of post, but I'm going to anyway.

People who are intolerant of homosexuals should be shot, thrown into a bucket of salt, shot again, then left in the desert...

I'm sorry you were treated that way, and the worker had no right to say something like that to you. Even if she thought that's what would happen, a nice 'only 1 person allowed in the changing room' would've been okay. NO way would a comment like that fly by me.

But, because of people like these, I usually have my boyfriend wait outside when we go to get something, mainly cuz asking for another male to share a fitting room is tantamount to attacking swans or something.
