There are hygiene laws that cover barbershops and hair salons. They can get fined big time, and even lose their licenses over that kind of stuff.Quoth Anakah View PostI got my hair cut and the lady didn't even clean up her station before she had me go in and so I had my sandals on someone else's hair and the little cover they put on you was also covered in the previous person's hair. I was grossed out but stupid me didn't say anything.
But yeah if they hurt you that bad, that person needs more training. We stopped going to a place that did something similar to my boyfriend. Its hard to find a good place to get hair cut anymore. Anywayz, I hope everything turns out okay for you. They say that God only gives us what we can handle. Apparently, God thinks I'm a bad ass.

That shouldn't have happened, even with dry clippers. I trim my husband's hair frequently with no guard on the clippers and no misting of the hair, and he's never had a reaction like this. Now, I'm not sure about the salon's clippers, but I know that ours can be used dry without a guard so long as you're not digging it into the person's neck or scalp. That's the best way to trim the edges. My guess would be the stylist's clippers weren't entirely clean, though if it didn't break the skin, I wouldn't worry as much unless the irritation gets worse.
Still, go up the food chain if possible, and in the meantime I second the recommendation of aloe gel. That stuff is miraculous."Enough expository banter. It's time we fight like men. And ladies. And ladies who dress like men. For Gilgamesh...IT'S MORPHING TIME!"
