I wasn't really sure where to put this...it's not really a Sighting, it's more like a Reverse Sighting.
My husband and I went to our local Micheal's craft store tonight to stock up on some things. They have a huge sale going on so it was a great time for me to replenish some of the crafty stuff I use to make jewelry. We also decided to pick up a bunch of frames since we have been accumulating prints and posters from conventions that we've been going to, and we wanted to hang them.
So before we left the house, we took stock on how many frames we needed and what sizes we needed. Among them were some 13x19" frames. This seems to be a somewhat odd size since we didn't find many frames in that size. We finally found 4 matching frames in a style that we liked, but as it turns out, two of them looked like they had been opened and the corners were kind of scratched and scuffed up. So we decided to ask someone if they had any others that weren't scuffed.

DH=Dear Husband
Me=Yours Truly!
C: Unfortunately, everything we have is out on the floor already. These look like they've been bought and returned, which is probably why they're scratched...
Me: Oh, that sucks. Do you happen to have anything that could fill the scratches in?
C: Let me go check. (he left for a moment then came back with a little jar of some black stuff) These frames aren't real durable and some people are just crazy when they handle merchandise.
DH: Yeah, I can only imagine.
C: That's about the best I can get it... (he had covered the scratches up somewhat but they were deep enough that he couldn't fill them in very well)
Me: Oh, it's all right.
DH: We can try painting it or something.
C: I'm really sorry about that. (looking pretty apprehensively at us) We can give you a discount for them since they're damaged, just tell the checker when you check out.
Me: No problem.
DH: Thanks for your help.
C: Wow, you guys are really nice. Most people I've dealt with would be really upset over this.
Me: Trust me...we understand.
DH and I just looked at each other and laughed. As we walked toward the checkout lanes, I said to him, "This is going to have to go on CS, as soon as I figure out which forum it fits under best."
