Douche Bag: Gotta a lot of junk in your cart I see

Ok, I don't see what business it is of yours

    Me: Yes I do

DB: If you cut back on it you might be able to lose weight
'Daddy? Daddy is that you? Oh Daddy I haven't seen you in so long, how have you been? Oh wait you're not my Daddy... You're nobody.. so stop treating me like you are my Daddy and mind your own business'

If that's a few too many Daddy's for you next time try a simple but effective 'Bite Me!'

Seriously, the nerve of some people! Sorry you copped that, just be happy knowing that while you are happy with yourself, he obviously is not and he's trying to make himself feel better by bringing other people down.. A complete loser if you ask me!

Not from mine. My mother was given unrealistic expectations of what she should look like, by her father, and hasn't got over it. And projects that onto me.
My father's expectations of my body are also unrealistic. For Mum's sake, I'm praying that he'll listen to Mum's health team - which currently includes an endocrinologist and a physiotherapist!

So yah.. some peoples' parents are doubtless fine. Mine aren't, not for this purpose.

There are three people who have a right to comment on my fat/other tissue ratio.
    My doctor.
    My wife.
    My husband.
...I might accept it from my parents too.
Just not too often (as it happens instead).

I'll make an exception for anyone my doctor refers me to, as well.

My wife and my husband because I know they're doing it from a place of love. My doctor because he cares and is my team partner for improving my health.

Being pleasantly plump myself (I'm plump, and very pleasant about it), I've gotten the looks. Had a co-irker who, on finding out I was pregnant, told me I might want to lose all my weight so I didn't crush the baby. I'd lost nearly fifty pounds over the several months prior to getting pregnant and thought I still looked pretty good.

My response to the chubby haters? "I'll keep that in mind, but I'll have to ask what my boyfriends think. There's an 's' there, indicating a plural. Once they start to care, I'll start to care, and you can take it up with them if you have a problem with it."

Most people get so shocked at the idea of my sex life, they let the fat thing go I'm not above saying outrageous things to shock people on purpose

    Here's what I would do:

Douchebag: "If you cut back on junk you might lose some weight."

Me: "When I want your advice I'll smack you over the head with it."

Searching the library for Bacon should tie up quite a bit of time.
But if "The" Librarian catches him? RW, whatever happens, don't say the M-word!

Just don't mention the crunchy stripy stuff so we can eat them in peace. (and without hoofmarks)
How to get Retail Workhorse out of the way? Point out that many scholars believe that many of Shakespeare's works were actually written by Sir Francis Bacon. Searching the library for Bacon should tie up quite a bit of time.

You wouldn't have gotten suspended if you'd just taken your bra off under your shirt

When I was in the 5th grade, I had no boobs, I was completely flat while the other girls had started to bud. Over the Summer vacation I exploded, I went from nothing to D cups in 3 months. I was accused of stuffing my bra, one day I got tired of being accused of stuffing and I tore off my shirt in the middle of class to prove to everyone that my boobs were real..

I was suspended for 3 days.
Good for you... standing up for yourself AND a three day vacation. I'd have done the same thing.

    Dear OP,

I'm a large man myself. I'm happy being large too.
    coughcoughbaconcoughcough
I've been teased enough throughout my life about it. I just don't listen anymore.
    Bacon.
What I find humorous is that my mother gives me hell about my weight and no one else does anymore.
This is a subliminal message. You want bacon.
Don't get me wrong, I love my mother and wish her well. Here are my problems with this:
    1) Bacon.
    1) I'm 31 years old.
    2) She's a hypocrite, being large herself.
    3) She constantly tries to get me to eat food every time I'm there.
    4) Said food is DEFINITELY not healthy.
    5) When I refuse said food, she acts hurt and tries to make me feel guilty.
    6) And MORE BACON!
Anyways, that's my conflict and I deal with it like I should. I need not bore you with further details.
    (OMG BACON BACON BACON)
I guess what the bottom line of all of this is... is don't let the haters get to you. They're not worth your time, emotion, or blood pressure.

I think (not sure) but Winston Chruchill said something similiar to a "high society" lady back in the day. the conversation went something like this
HS : Mr Prime Minister you are quite drunk
WS: That is true but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.
Churchill is full of great quotes.

"One can always trust the United States to do the right thing, once every possible alternative has been exhausted."
