I went to my local Malay/Chinese restaurant yesterday. It was a buffet and it was fantastic. The service was friendly, courteous, and prompt. It almost didn't happen. The last time I went, I waited 15 minutes for my check and then waited more than 10 minutes for the waitress to come get the payment. I then decided just to take the check up to the cashier. There I waited for another 10 minutes being ignored the whole time. I then went back to the table and put down the only cash I had, a tenner. The waitress, through her own disinterest, received only a 1% tip. Probably more than she deserved. Glad I tried the place again. New staff who seem to actually enjoy working there.
