So, I made an outing to go Christmas shopping today, despite the inhumanely cold temperatures. I'm the type that likes to take the back roads everywhere, and so I tooled along the (paved) county roads to my destination. Came up over a hill at one point, heading east, and there sat a semi with trailer, more than half on the road, not moving. It took me a moment to realize it wasn't moving, thankfully before I actually got to it and moved around it, but wow. There were no flashers/emergency blinkers/whatever going, no lights on it at all. It was far to much into the road to be safe. Someone was asking for some poor unfortunate "four wheeler" (trucking terminology for us in cars/trucks/SUVs/etc) to run smack into them! My thought, once I processed how stupid the driver was, was "Well, THAT'S going on the Roadkill board tonight!"
