I was heading to the movies with a friend. I was approaching a red light to go straight, but it turned green before I had to slow down too much.
I glace at both lanes of traffic that got the red light to make sure no one was running it as I was approaching.
Someone was speeding up to the red light kind of fast, but sometimes people will do that and then stop fairly suddenly. I keep my eye on them.
As I was approaching the intersection and crossing, the car was still going pretty fast. Apparently they wanted to make a left turn right in front of me, without stopping.
Luckily, I figured they were going to blow through and not stop for their light to at least make sure no cars(me) were coming. So I pretty much had to stop, and was maybe 4-6 feet from their car which was halfway into the road I was already on.
They finally realized "Hey, maybe the car with the green light has the right of way right now!" and they stopped, and I honked angerly at them, and went on my way.
