Two stories.
One was from on the way to the gym today. Before the intersection by the gym is where you can either go west and you'll be headed towards Minnesota, or go east and head towards Wisconsin Dells. This is somewhat important because they are the big freeways, I94 west and east.
Backtrack to the intersection before that. I am waiting to turn right on red, and the light turns green.
Shit you not, the nanosecond that that light turned green, I got tooted at by the stupid bitch behind me, as if to say "What the hell MOOOOVE IT!"
I turned and got into the left lane, she tailgated almost the entire turn and got in the right lane and whizzed all the way until she had to slam on the brakes to make the sharp right turn onto the freeway for 94 west.
Crazy bitch was in such a hurry, I noticed as she whizzed past me that her trunk was left open, and was flapping up and down either because of the wind or how fast she was driving. Gee, I hope she doesn't go over any big bumps or nothing important gets blown out or falls out of there. In such a hurry, she didn't shut her trunk wherever she left last. Dumbass.
Then next story:
This happens all the time. It absolutely infuriates me. I prefer to always be in the lane that I need to be in ahead of time, so that I never have to scramble. If I'm on the freeway, obviously sometimes I have to move to let people merge in, but when it comes to the 4-6 lane roads on the main drags of town, there's really no reason to always be changing lanes unless you are passing people.
I understand driving is boring. I absolutely hate it. It makes it worse when there is nothing good on the radio or your CDs are all old and overused and there's no one to talk to in the car with you or whatever, but is that really a good reason to always be flopping around lanes?
Or those idiots who don't want to be behind anyone at stoplights, so they get in the other lane, then have to hammer it or squeeze in later on when their lane disappears or is a turn lane only. I hate even more when you can't or really don't feel like adjusting your speed to let them in, and they just decide to take a risk and let themselves in and nearly cause an accident.
I hate driving.
