So, my daily commute is a grand, whopping, 5 miles total. This morning, I got to see some real winners.
Mister Which-way
I've pulled up to the left turn signal at a minor intersection near my home and there's a guy coming from the other direction who hasn't quite reached the intersection. I watch as this genius proceeds to pull over towards his left turn lane, then changes his mind and pulls the car back into the through traffic lane. Then, after being stopped for about half a minute, he figures out he actually wants to turn right. So, he angles his car partway across the crosswalk and in front of the right through lane while he waits for traffic to let up so he can make his turn.
The guy's lucky there wasn't anyone else on his side of the street.

Part of my route takes me on a jaunt through a semi-commercial residential area due to the fun of a freeway and accompanying riverway. As I'm approaching the stop sign where I turn to get back to a major road, I watch this commercial truck turn from another side street. He crawls along at 10 mph for the 2 blocks it takes to reach the stop.
I'm wondering what the hell he's going to do next when he pulls over to the right, next to the curb, and I'm starting to think that maybe he's going to park and about to pull around him to make my right turn when he decides that he really needs to keep going and goes ahead and pulls through the intersection to crawl his way along the next block.
I'm glad I chose not to trust him, because if I'd been any more impatient, there's a good chance we'd have had an accident.
Stupid drivers made what should have been a 10-minute trip take 20. >_<
