  • I know it's an unusual concept...

Okay, dear sir in front of me waiting to make a left turn on 45th from State Street, I realize that 45th and State is one of maybe 10 intersections in the city that aren't left turn yield and green (those who live here know I'm not exagerating much when I say that), but if there is a red arrow, you do in fact have to remain stopped. I know this is something of a confusion for those who have never encountered this, but it is in the handbook that unless there is a sign specifically saying you can turn on green without a green arrow (or there are no arrows on the light), then you keep your happy ass stopped.
I hope this has been informative to you dear sir who was in front of me, and I do appreciate that you got to the exact same spot as I did only 45 seconds before me despite me following the law... I truly hope it was worth it.
If you wish to find meaning, listen to the music not the song
