Yesterday, I was with a customer who wanted to play the lottery and my service desk coworker was serving other customers in line. One impatient customer cut in line and wanted to know how long it would take with the lottery customer. I told the impatient customer that I would hurry and started doing the lottery numbers faster. The lottery customer actually got into an argument with the impatient customer over his cutting in line.
The impatient customer wanted to know what was taking so long. I told him that I was hurrying and eventually I finished with the lottery customer and he went on his way.
It turned out that the item the impatient customer had didn't ring up correctly since the sale part of the tag expired and it wasn't taken down. I took care of the problem and sent the impatient customer on his way.
