So, this happened a few years ago, so I don't remember the details that well. I'm sorry for the screwy memory-blame it on the hexovalent chromium.
We were servicing a aircraft for a flight, and I'd just brought up a piece of equipment-I think it was a generator, but not sure now. Anyway, the pilot is overlooking the job and sees that the thing is dirty. And to him, dirty means broken/bad or something, cuz he complains at me about it. So since I'm the knuckle dragger, he makes me go and 'get another one.' Instead, I drove it behind the shack, washed and toweled it, and brought back 'another one.' He didn't even notice it was the same one.
