I almost missed my bus.
I finished work and had to cross a busy road to get to the bus stop. The bus was already there, and appeared to have stopped. I was certain that it was just letting someone on or off and would leave as soon as I tried to cross.
It's a very busy road and, typically, there seemed to be more traffic as usual because I wanted to cross. The bus was still parked at the bus stop and then I realised! He was actually waiting for me! I managed to cross, and ran up to the bus and got on.
I was sooooo grateful, and made sure to tell him this. When it was my turn to get off, some elderly ladies got off too, and told him he was a lovely courteous young lad, and I just had to tell him that I agreed with them! I think we probably made his day
