I used to work for a tour operator that specialised in tours in Latin America, anyway, the Sydney office used to look after all bookings made by travel agents and customers in the USA.
I had one customer who was really nice to deal with. I answered all her questions and put together an itinerary for her and her husband using short packages (as they did not want to do a group tour, and using the short packages, it would have been just her, her husband and a guide for the day tours, who would also collect them and drop them off at their hotel).
To thank me for all my help, she posted me a present, which turned out to be a lightweight scarf, that is actually very warm, and perfect for winter time! That was in 2007, and I still have that scarf and wear it.
