Recap: I work in the kitchen/Deli section, attached to a Supermarket (that just moved today to the new location behind the old store). I'm your breakfast grill cook and busser of tables.
I work very hard for my customers and their smiles are the best rewards in return. Tips aren't an issue since I get paid full wages. I've had relatively few sucky customers (yeah, a couple, including Entitlement Bitch from the other day) at this new job (been here slightly over three months). I guess someone remembered that we who work so hard for them like to be appreciated once in a while.
The other day in the middle of my shift, I got sent a purple carnation anonymously! (There is a floral dept. in the same supermarket) Everyone was very surprised and I got teased about having a secret admirer and boyfriend, but the card simply praised me for serving them a wonderful breakfast and working so hard to make them happy.
I don't know who you are, but you ROCK!!!!
