For a variety of reasons I didn't have the best of days today, so this was a nice bright spot.
While showing a digital camera to a woman, I managed to set the alarm off, which required a manager to come over to reset it.
Me: Sorry Al, that was me.
MOD: That's ok, we'll just dock it from your pay.
Customer: Oh, then in that case, it was me.
MOD: Oh......then I guess....I can't dock his pay.
Me: Thank you for that.
Nothing too special, though most other people would just have laughed, so I'll take whatever I can get.
