At first, we wondered where this would go: a bride and Mom slightly dissatisfied with the way her bustle looked. It wasn't quite even. Sometimes that happens, we're working with fabric, which folds and drapes, and hangs in sometimes unexpected ways.
So i pin up a couple areas, and tell the bride I can tweak this right now, if she could go get a cup of coffee, or something. No worries, she still needs a dress for her rehearsal dinner. She'll slip out of the dress and shop for a bit. Her mother sees the consultant who sold them the gown and starts to call her name, walking over to her for some help.
Bride stops her mom, and says, "Mom, she's helping a woman pick her wedding dress. We mustn't rain on that bride's parade."
