Yesterday I replied to a tech support email sent from France. Fortunately, the solution was very simple so I typed my canned response, sent it and gave it no more thought.
Today they replied to let me know it worked, thanked me for being fast and invited me to stop by for coffee any time.
I told them I'd be sure to stop by and say "hi" if I happen to be in the neighborhood.
I love customers who are nice, as most of mine are. Making me laugh for the right reasons is even better. I love my job.
