I know you will never see this you neo-luddite technophobe you. but you really made me proud to be your friend today.
I asked you to help me with a (hopefully) minor home repair problem, like I have in the past. While i could probably do it myself with lots of diections, We feel better having someone who knows what they are douing handle it. I know I can sometimes be a pest. I didn't know you had a migrane on Sunday so you couldn't come when you wanted. I am glad you are coming on friday.
We always want to give you something for your time, so we feed you. I know you really enjoy my cooking, but wanted to make sure what we were giving you instead would suffice.
