Esurance ROCKS!
I am a bit embarassed to say that there is not enough money in my checking account to pay my truck insurance that was scheduled for payment today. And I received an email from them telling me this. I called hoping they wouldn't cut off my insurance if I could have it deducted tomorrow.
The lady on the phone was awesome. For starters I bet she was shocked that I had my stuff together and had my policy number all ready to give. From reading on here, I think that probably made her happy. Because she was really nice and made my day.
She had to ask me several questions to verify who I was: Name, address, email address, phone number and to be honest I am GLAD. I recognized the tone of be worried the customer would mind. No, I am one of those people who love that sort of thing--like asking for ID on a credit card. She said something about her not asking me everytime I call but I told her it's awesome that she asked.
Me: Would it be possible to not have my insurance cancelled if I am a day late?
EL (Esurance lady): That's odd... It says it's not due until the 26th. (She does some digging and comes up with this) Oh, I see.
Basically I have ten days until I am late. Ten days until I do get a lapse in my insurance and before I get sent the email notifying me that my insurance is gone. She said something about having equity (I've been with said company for three years) and that we pay thirty days in advance or something. Either way she explained it better than I am now but after taking to her I felt
and happy.
She was very professional and polite. After speaking to her she asked if I wanted to take a fifteen second survey, normally I don't but she was so awesome so I agreed. The automated system asked me how my agent was, lets just say I gave her a five---which is the highest on the scale.
So, EL lady you are awesome and I love the company you work for!!!
