I was walking home from the bus stop today. I got on the wrong bus, so I had to walk part of the way home from a further distance, and different part of town than I usually do.
But as I was walking through the downtown area, I passed a carpet shop that had closed for the day. (I was walking at 7:30 and the carpet shop's sign said it closed at 5). It had a sign boldly taped inside its window.
"We'd love to help you fix your carpet . . . but if you didn't buy it here, we cannot fix it."
Isn't that great? I got such a momentary thrill out of it.
