One more from a few years ago

I had an older gentleman call and for ask directions to the office. I gave him directions to get here (not difficult, we are on a main road), but somehow he managed to pull into a residential neighborhood a couple blocks away. When he callled back and told me where he was, I told him he was close and patiently gave him directions to get here again. He showed up here (don't remember what for) I chatted with him for a few minutes and he left. About an hour later he called the office to let me know I had the most calming voice and next time he got upset, he was going to call me so he could feel better. awwwww

Never did hear from him again, but it did get me wondering if he encountered condensending tones from his family or others and was happy just to talk with someone who treated him with the respect he deserved. What a sweet old man!
