3 years ago my beloved but klutzy wife fell & broke her left arm...no big deal, right? Unless you're a southpaw.
So about a week after I take her in to the Dr. to make sure it's OK & afterwards she says she needs more protein to heal properly & the best thing RIGHT NOW would be a prime rib at Paul's Monterey Inn.
The place that never got out of the 70s in decor, dark paneled walls, deep black leather booths, fake wrought iron light fixtures & fairly dark. Also the best prime rib in town & some of the best service.
I had the French Dip with green chile (it was lunchtime) & when the young lady set our plates down she said to my wife "I noticed your arm was broken so I had the cook cut up your meat"
We tipped $25 on a $40 tab.
