Due to circumstances entirely within my control, I left my local (i.e. "immediate") gift shopping until today (Christmas Eve).
Whilst commuting to the grocery store, two liquor stores (the first didn't have aged single-malt scotch), Sam's Club, Target, and B&N, I encounterd NO ASSHOLES either on the road, in the parking lots, or in the stores. The store clerks, although frazzled, still seemed to have a good humor about them, and didn't have forced smiles when wishing me a Happy Holiday.
I think I may have accidentally entered the Twililght Zone
I hope everyone on the boards has a peaceful, pleasant holiday!
