First time for me - customer asked me for my name so she can mention me on the survey. aw... thank you ma'am.
she came to pick up her computer - it was just finishing, one of my coworkers was boxing it up. so i chatted with her a little as i closed it out.
she started talking about it being for her granddaughter but said she didn't want to say anything with children around (another customer had a child with her).
Me (thinking... ahhh Santa!)
me out loud: Do you watch NCIS? (she nods) If a forensic scientist says it's true then who am I to argue?
after that I helped her find a case for the laptop and rang her out at my register vs making her go to the front lines.
At the end she asked me for my name...
made me feel good
