This was left for me this morning:
"Hi, this is (redacted) from the Chemistry Department. I have a formatting... question... uh.... instead of giving me inches on my page setup, it's giving me points, pt, whatever that stands for. I need to know how to get it back to inches. Thank you! (phone number redacted)."
It's actually not *terribly* sucky, as I was able to guess that she was using Word (and she had actually solved it herself when I called her back after taking the time to transcribe her voicemail), but it's still a pet peeve of mine when people expect you to magically understand what in the blazes they're talking about.
