ok, so all of you know that i work for a major airline in their dot com dept. i just got the weirdest call yet on this line.
some yahoo in a hub city is doing training, and now needs to use webmail. my company only uses an owa client or full outlook or if your really high up, crackberry outlook. so he wants to set up his moto q, with outlook express, to access our exchange system for his email.
i tried explaining that we dont support outlook express at all, and that we dont support mobiles except the crackberry. this would have been fine except he called back!!!!
and so we tried it again, except he just wanted the exchange server info. which one of my lovely coworkers (yes she is lovely) took him from my line and then wanted to strangle him afterwards.
and as i was typing this HE CALLED BACK AGAIN!!!! sent him to the outlook group again.
all of this woudlnt be so bad if he had a clue what he was doing and would listen to anything we said. but hes the type that knows all about his phone and wouldnt take no for an answer.
