I'm up late tonight doing homework. It's easy but time-consuming homework, so I have the TV on. The Terminator is playing. I think I caught a mistake.
The scene comes after Sarah Connor and Reese check into the motel. Reese leaves. Sarah takes a shower, then she calls her mom. After some coaxing, Sarah finally gives in to Mom's request for her phone number, and Sarah relays the number as some area code and 555-1439.
When the scene changes, we see that it was actually the terminator on the other end of the line impersonating Sarah's mother. When he hangs up, he calls the number she gave him in order to get the address of the motel and track her down. But, as he dials, he appears to hit the last three numbers all on the right side of the number pad, which would mean he dialed 555-1639 instead.
I might have not seen it correctly, but that's what it looked like. I know it's a tiny detail in a classic movie, but I found it interesting. And I just want to know: has anyone else seen this?
