Grindhouse (Possible spoilers)

Did anyone else last night catch Grindhouse in theaters?

I don't wanna give too much away, but.................

Tarantino and Rodriguez do NOT disappoint. It's worth the high cost of movie tickets these days (hell, even the popcorn) and you get to see TWO movies :)

Lots of action, lots of blood and gore........and in the 2nd one..........mmmm love the cars!

Grindhouse was awesome. You could definitely tell Tarantino did the second film...lots and lots of talking (but not necessarily a bad thing). The previews before and in between the two films were hysterical. My heart was in my throat for most of the 2nd film...at the end I couldn't believe how long we'd actually been in the theater!

Edited to ad, I love the references to other bits of Tarantino movies, etc. in Grindhouse (i.e. the commercial for "Acuna Boys Fresh Mex" being a reference to the Acuna Boys gang in Kill Bill).

The endless talking in Death Proof made me believe at first that the movie was going to suck, but alas......the action started soonafter.

I will never ever piss off another middle aged man in a muscle car again.
