I went outside and looked at the trees in the neighborhood and they are all dying.  The leaves are all shriveled up and falling off.

Someone please tell me that they (trees, grass, flowers, etc.) are all going to make a comeback. We are having one more night with a freeze warning. I don't want to look at bare branches and dead trees for my birthday. I knew that we were going to have another cold snap before springs kicks in, but I had no idea it was going to be like this. Yes, I'm panicking and worried, I don't like winter, cause everything looks dead. I'll be happier (and calmer) when everything goes green and the flowers are blooming again.

I know what you mean, we've had entire lemon and avocado orchards decimated from the freezes we had a month or so ago. We live in an area that has a large number of citrus (Orange and Lemon) groves as well as Avocados. Hell the Calavo plant is less then a half mile from my house.

So to see entire orchards turning brown and dying, and knowing that we're going to be getting screwed on guacamole in the near future sucks (at least my little avocado tree survived).

I'm feeling the same way! It's almost scary, seeing all the leaves shriveled and stuff.

Of course, then I go to my backyard and look at my really really long grass. Then I feel worse, but for a different reason. :)

Jenni, who hates having a downhill slope for a backyard.

Don't worry CRH the leaves will come back. You might not get any flowers on the trees and shrubs but you will get leaves.
