View Full Version : Posting links
Boozy

I'm almost certain that I read somewhere that we shouldn't post links to other sites anywhere other than in the Check it Out section. I can't find that reference now - am I imagining this? I know I've seen a few links outside that section.
I want to reply to a thread in another section and I have a link that would be just perfect to add.

The general rule is that if it's just a link to something you've seen that's nifty elsewhere, something for amusement's sake, stick it in Check ti Out. If it involves a sucky manager or colleague, Check it Out's the best place - it's not really something that happened to a board member. I'm not going to sweat much if it ends in something like co-workers or managers, though.
Adding links to existing threads? Usually not a problem - go for it.

Yeah, generally if you're replying to a thread with a relavent link it's fine.
If you're starting a thread about a link then Check It Out is the way to go.
PS~ I know I spelled relavent wrong.
