Suggestion: RSS Feed

I don't know how hard it is to code an RSS feed since the most I know is extremely basic HTML (i.e. Hello World! level) but I think an RSS feed for the forum would be really cool and convenient, if it's too hard to do, that's alright, just something to consider in the future.

I did happen to notice some RSS options in the admin panel, so what the OP wants might be doable.

Only thing is, and I feel really stupid admitting this, but I don't even know what RSS is. :confused:

It's some form of news feed. I just don't know what we'd put on there.

Actually, that would be newsworthy... Any suggestions as to what we could do with it if we did put this out?

RSS is "Really Simple Syndication" all of the RSS I have seen is just a list of new posts, usually only the 5 newest, which for this board would be kinda pointless as there are at least 5 posts a minute around here during most of the day so most people would still miss alot unless they were watching it constantly. On the upside it would allow me to get a brief glimpse of what was happening from my Yahoo! home page.

Just an idea, if there was a way to do it. But couldn't an RSS feed track the chat room?
Just about the only thing I could think of a RSS feed for CS. That and the sunday strip. ;)
