Yep, that's right, it's Finals Week! Which means it's my last week of the semester to get my grades up. HAH. I wish.

Today, I took my Bio final. You may remember be bitching and whining about Bio earlier. Well, I failed my first test and got a D and a D+ on my second and third test. Did I mention I need a C in that class? Well, my lab grade was a 79.2. And I just checked and my bio final grade was posted. Drumroll please......73! So at this point, I have a 70 as my grade for Bio, three points away from a C. PLEASE let there be a curve or let the teacher hook me up.

Also today, my chem teacher posted our adjusted grades for the semester. Before the final, I am at a......77! A C has never felt so good, unless I get a C in Bio and Calc...On that note, I finally went to my chem teacher and asked him what I got on last semester's final. It was a 53 before the curve. Apparently one of the best scores at my school for that final. Chem I is a standardized final. With the curve, it was a 89. SCORE!

I can't believe I showed up for my writing final. We were only going to finish up our presentations because my teacher screwed up time management. So I got there right at 1pm. Teacher wasn't there. Five minutes later, no teacher. 1:10, still not there. 1:15, I decided to say screw it and announced I was leaving. Most of the class followed me out.

And my Calc test is Thursday. I thought it was tomorrow, so I now have an extra two days to study. This is another class I need a C in. Doesn't seem physically possible, but if I do decent on my final, and my teacher doesn't prove to be the old ***hole who should be put out of OUR misery, MAYBE, just MAYBE, I'll squeek by. Doubtful.

More updates to come in the exciting week only known as Finals Week.

I hear ya!! I only have two classes each semester but they still make me sweat! I have all A's in Comp ll and one final reading response that I am working on right now, well until I just took a break..LOL! I finished my 25 page paper last week, I had the whole semester to do it and ended up scrambling at the last minute to finish because I am my own worst critic and I keep scrapping the paper.

I have three papers to write for my Intro to Theatre plus a final on Thursday but since my teacher hates reading papers I only need to make them a couple of pages each. I have turned in four papers and recieved one A, two B's and one C. so it is not too bad in that class.

My exams aren't for another couple weeks. Why we started so late I don't know. I'm worried I might get a "B" in one class. I wanted straight A's again :( (I'm sorry Green Day, please don't throw things at me, I wish you the best of luck)! If you want good grades, there's this thing called not having a life. You should try it sometime! Or not.

I have one final tomorrow and one on Saturday. I just handed in my senior project today. I can't believe I am done with that finally. Now I won't feel guilty about screwing around on the internet when I should be writing a paper. That really sucks that 70 is not a C. I just finished a class right now(linear algebra) where I got 13 out of 40 on the second midterm. That was a C.

Once Saturday rolls around, all of my requirements will be done and I only need 12 credits of electives. I get to finish off in the summer taking Intro to French, Intro to sign language, and the history of rhythm and blues. July 5 I am finished.

You know, when you are in your second semester of your freshman year, and most of your classes are considered "high risk" a.k.a most people fail, A's just seem damn near impossible.
