:) ...I normally read this from my government computer. If the link might be objectionable, perhaps warning in the post? :deadhorse: :soapbox: :D

That is the normal standard. That all "adults" material links be labeled as such.

There's nothing specifically in the rules, though when I get around to revising them there may very well be. It's more an accepted code of conduct right now to do that.
We don't allow pornography on here - too many places to find it thrust in your face, so to speak, so we don't need it - but things such as vast amounts of swearing etc are best labelled NSFW (Not Safe For Work).

I used to have a "Guidelines for posting" sticky, that mentioned disclaimers on things like that.
Will look through my files and see if I still have it.
If I can get the dust brushed off, I will put it back up. ;)

From my personal experience at work, it's sometimes hard to tell what will make it through the firewall and what won't. I can get to snopes.com, but not zug.com. Strange stuff like that. I am sorry to say that I have gotten dinged on the firewall at work more times than I probably should have. I just don't click links from work anymore.

Actually, there was a post on another forum I run where one of the members was at a meeting about Internet security at work. The tech in charge was saying that it's so much harder to work out what sites to filter these days, "since **** is actually a porn site and thedevilspanties.com is actually a comic strip". He came straight to the DP forums and reported us as being a matter of national security :D
That one made our day.
