surprise! (sort of pleasant)

So...I checked my paycheck stub today on a whim - and realized I managed to get a surprise $.50 raise per hour! :D
I know it really isn't much...but it's still better than what I was making before! Yay!

Hey, $.50/hr is pretty dang spiffy. Most I've ever gotten all at once was $.25... though I did get about $.50 in less than a month once:

$.10 as my Employee Evaluation,
$.15 raise as a bonus for being the top store the franchise-owner ran
$.25 for achieving 'proficient' ratings in every station in the store

All told, I was still making less than $7.00/hr though. :(
