Canadian newscast on "Internet" (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-160820776386465403&sourceid=zeitgeist). The way they use "internet" as a proper name amuses me.

There's not screenfuls of "go to hell"

It is a proper noun.

You can have an internet, such as linked computers in the workplace, or the Internet, which is the one we all know and love. Grammatically, they are correct.
