Normally my dogs don't win at dog shows. Judges and breeders are more into the extreme that Americans like to breed (in other words, shit). Our dogs are not like that. Unlike the vast majority of "show" dogs in the US, my dogs also work, and fit the standards based on the country of origin (why does the US think they know more about GERMAN shepherds than Germany??).
OK, I digress.
Zorro, my Belgian malinois, won breed today over some well known dogs. He didn't do well in the group ring, but he did have presence in the show ring.
Maiya, also a Belgian malinois, showed in the veterans class (older or retired dogs). She not only won breed, but when she went against all the herding veterans, she took 4th place in the group (for a group 4 award). Not bad for my 8 year old girl!

I'm afraid I'll need pictures of your puppies to determine if they're deserving.;) Not that I know anything about dog breeds and just want to see pictures of someone's dog.

BTW - this weekend, after Kiri was examined by the judge, he said:
"He's going to grow up to be a big boy!"

Ah, they are pretty doggies. This reminds me when we see dog shows on TV and my mom would make our dog Princess (who is just an old mutt hound because she is over 12 years old) watch the dogs because they were of course, very well behave most times. I don't think she really learn anything from watching them . Anyway we really pay attention to the hound group because she is all hound and her mother was full blooded bassett hound while her father was a wild beagle (were think he might have some fox hound in him too). Anyway we always hoping either a basset hound or beagle (talk about old school dogs) would win the hound group but they never do :(.

The pale one? That's Raja, he was an excellent cat, too bad we gave him back to the breeder. :(

Aww, what cute dogs!
My dog, who passed to the great kennel in the sky several years ago, was a crossbreed, yet she once won the overal Best Dog In Show in a dog show, chosen over several purebreds. XD I only entered her in shows for fun, but she won quite a few times, mostly in the crossbreed fun sections like Dog With Waggiest Tail and Best Crossbreed.
