Now I hope NWN2 meets my expectations....
And any of the games in the Civilization-series I-IV gets my vote!

I have several computers set up at home so some friends and I play Warcraft(LAN) And we usually team up which makes it so much more fun!! :D
I have always wanted to play the NWN. And I'm hunting for a new game to start on so that just might be it. Anyone have any reccomendations?

Another Warcraft geek reporting for duty. :salute: :D
Sphinx, I agree that playing with a group (even just another person) is a great way to go with that. I can do a lot as a solo, but when you get the right combination of skills...wooo-eee, it's a beautiful thing.
Also do the occasional LAN parties...I think the last game we did was a Star Wars 1st-person shooter (title? no clue!) but we're now looking at Unreal Tournament.
And to think it all started with that Atari "Pong" cartridge...

Guild Wars. :-)
I love the graphics, and that I can play with other people if I feel sociable, or just hire NPC henchmen if I don't.

I am quite the gamer, although I'm usually limited to 2 or 3 games at a time due to low fundage.
I have a lifetime subscription to Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates and right now I am playing World of Warcraft and City of Heroes.

I have been playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Hitman Blood Money on XBOX 360. I have just finished Oblivion, but that is the most amazing game I have ever seen or played!
Hitman is ok, I bought the soundtrack.
I am getting the Oblivion symbol tattooed on my wrist...lol and I have created the most unique character, Mr. Jingles. You can see him on my MySpace (homepage listed in profile).
I am excited to finally play Dead Rising when it comes ou...hope it actually comes out this year!:D

No GTA fans in here? I've been playing San Andreas for the past few months...mainly because the flying missions suck. It's great stress relief after dealing with idiots on the roads on the way to/from work. Hopefully soon, I'll have that one beaten :)

None at this moment in time really. Well, none online. I've been waiting for a bunch of the new online games to come out but they're taking forever. I have Oblivion and desperately want to play it but it won't even start with my current video card so I have to wait for my new card to arrive before I can start it.
I've been an avid player of EQ for years. Switched to EQ2 when it came out and love it. But, I've gotten bored with the same game all the time so I no longer play it.
Tried SWG, and DaoC but didn't like either of them. Hate WoW with a passion.
Been told I should try Never Winter Nights.

Thanks for reminding me Pro. Yeah, I've been working on San Andreas for quite some time now. I'm stuck at the flying school, I hate the controls for the plane. If anyone wants to beat it for me and send me their memory card... nah... I'll beat it, sometime.

Addicted to WoW as well...glad to see that I'm not the only one :D
And, although I haven't played it lately, I absolutely LOVE Gran Turismo 4. In all honesty, the next Gran Turismo game will be the reason I buy a PlayStation 3.

WELL..we met in Asheron's Call, so it's not like we can turn our backs on gaming now, heheh
We've been through AC, AC2, City of Heroes, Horizons beta, EQ2 beta tests, and now WoW together....not to mention all the non-mmorpg games that we've played together like Diablo, Darkstone, Dungeon Siege, etc etc. If it's two player and looks cool, we'll play it. ER..if it's not two player and it looks cool, we'll buy it and fight over who gets it first..hehehe. The plus side to having two gaming geeks in the house is that if I get him a game for a present (or vice versa) it's fun for both of us. :)
You should see us DDR together. We talk so much smack...
i recently broke the world of warcrack addiction
i loved NWN 1, doubt i'll get 2 though as games distract me too much during the school year
i've played diablo 2, warcraft 2 and 3, civ 2 3 and 4,dark age of camelot, the sci fi mmorpg, cant remember the name, starcraft and its expansion, tons of consoles games
im a huge gamer haha
college really makes gaming hard though and gaming makes college hard so i'm trying not to play during the year

It was my fiance who got me started on WoW, actually. He refers to our warrior/priest combo as a "symbiotic partnership," but it really is that...neither of our characters solo well, and we kick ass together.
When I started playing and he realized I liked it so much, he was ecstatic. Hang in there, NightWolf, you can find a game geek of your very own....

I'll second that Ryu!! I stay focused enough on my end goal to not let Gaming interfere with working out and studying. It sucks that I only have about 1 hour of gaming time during the weeknights, but I make up for it most weekends. :D

Yeah, who knows. I've had a few GF's that did some very minor gaming. Mostly of the Mario Cart/Mario Golf sorts, but never really got into MMO's. They seemed to be more interested in the T.V. I like finding someone who games mainly because it's so much cheaper than going out to the bars all the time. After this last weekend I sat and looked in my wallet and went, "No wonder I don't do this all the time" As I tipped it upside down and nothing fell out. Plus I like the feeling of having fun ribbing your significant other while playing something you both enjoy. Or coming to their aid is fun too. :D

Well, I game way too much.
World of Warcraft, Neverwinter Nights, Oblivion, EQ I and II (not at the moment taking a break from EQ), Dungeon Seige. That's what's installed for the PC.
As far as console based gaming goes: PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox (not getting the 360 until I see one survive 2 years), Gameboy, TurboGraphix 16, and NES. And a crap load of different games for 'em all. Currently playing Hack on PS2, Pokemon XD on Gamecube. Bored with Xbox right now so nothing on that.
WoW characters: On 2 RP servers, Shadow Council and Steamwheel. All kinds of classes. Alliance on Shadow Council and Horde on Steamwheel.
EQ characters: forgotten what I played, when I take a break. I forget it all

I haven't been able to play much since meeting the GF. When i get the chance I try to play some WoW, but usually get bored pretty quickly (happens everytime with that game with me). I was an avid FFXI player, but just quit because I couldn't devote the time I wanted to it with work and my social life. Other than that I've been working on:
Valkyrie Profile for PSP
Xenosaga 1 and 2
DQ8
and Painkiller.
Looking forward to:
FFXII
Dawn of Mana (heard they're possibly making a Wii MMORPG for the mana series too *squeel*)
Xenosaga 3
Dirge of Cerebus
Smash Bros for Wii

I don't play games as much as I used to, long work days and all.
I'm currently going through Diablo 2 again.
Dawn of War is always fun.
I refuse to play any online stuff. The whole point of gaming for me is to avoid people.

ooooh, I was a major Sims nut a while back. I was addicted! I became this control freak. I loved my sim family to the point where my mum took the game away from me to get me away from the computer! I was such a nerd! But i'm over that now. My mum plays tetris, what a loser, hehe.

YAY Kiwi, Sims is great! I was obsessed with it until Oblivion came out. I used to spend hours making people that I know. I made an absolutely PERFECT Sim of Jamie and our friend Qurar (a guy). When Qurar came over, I showed him his SIM and he almost fainted! He could not believe how much it looked like him. Funny, too, cause you know how Sims act, and walk and stuff? Well...that is Qurar. Even the facial expressions! LOL:roll:

I refuse to try WoW cause i resent the idea of paying for the game AND an online subscription - if you have to subscribe to play, they should give you the game free.
Im also not keen on playing MMORGS usually, but at least with GWs you can fill your team with henchmen and do quests if you want to play on your own :)

Yeah, I can totally see why you feel the way you do, but at the same time, you have to look at why you pay a monthly fee. The servers are all maintained by Blizzard. If you look at it from another standpoint, like being in a gaming guild, most guilds have their own servers that they pay for, so the concept is somewhat the same. You buy the game, and then pay monthly for servers. Not everyone does this, but those serious about teaming up usually end up in gaming guilds and are asked to support the server.
But I totally respect your opinion on this subject as I have many friends that feel the exact same way you do. Sadly, I think this is the way of the future for most games. :(

I just started playing Prey last night and man is that game fun. I haven't had this much fun with an FPS in a long time. I totally suggest to anyone who wants to play a good FPS to check it out. As for MMORPGS, I think most games will eventually go that way myself. Its a bigger buisness for a company to release a game that they can constantly upgrade and supply a service for. As long as the content comes out free and the major expansions come out as low cost upgrades, the MMO will never die.

Right now, my biggest online game that is live play is America's Army. Nothing like shooting some bad guys up.
Then as far as online games on the web, it's www.managerleague.com. You get a soccer team, you choose which stats to train for the players, you have seperate team stats to train, you can upgrade your stadium, buy players, sack them, change formations, etc. It's really sweet. PM me if you are interested.

I'm a Nintendo DS girl...I was never really into games until the boyfriend got me that. I'd never play anything myself...I was into Street Fighter 3 at the arcade though...that and Point Blank. I'd play MarioKart 64 because my sister wanted to (she was the one who wanted the N64).
But before the DS, I'd be happy watching the boyfriend play games on his PS2..my favorites to watch were God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, and Destroy All Humans!
Now, since the DS...I play Animal Crossing: Wild World at least a few times a week. (If any of you have a DS and that game, we should trade friend codes and play online! Let me know!)I don't have many games for the DS though...just Mario, Brain Age, Meteos, and Nintendogs (but I don't play Nintendogs really just because I have my own dog...)
And I love to play poker (Texas Hold 'Em and Omaha H/L). I have to play live poker soon before I go to Vegas, cause the boyfriend and I are planning on playing no-limit tournaments (I'm sure I would do fine...but I've only played live once before). I mostly play online, mainly on JetSet. I'm going to get an account on PartyPoker, I think.
