We're still playing number 2... but what the hell, we may well get it at some point.

I'm sure my hunny will have it...and I probably won't be able to get at it 'til he's done. He's really good at it, so I'm not sure how long it will take him... I'm still working on beating Expert on GH2.

Set list has some good songs in there! This one ought to be a lot of fun.

I can't even beat hard on GH2 but that's cause I never have time to play.

The song list looks amazing though.

Yeah, I agree. That song list IS amazing. I can't wait to play Ratt, Scorpions, and Iron Maiden. w00t!

And i can play most of the stuff on hard, but expert...ugg...very little.

*Edit* I will say one thing. Where's my Def Leppard!!!!! If anyone should be in the 80's version, it should be them...and oh yeah...how bout some AC/DC!?!

Just played for the first time in about two weeks. I beat the song I've been having trouble with on my first try. Now I'm on the 4th or 5th tier. Can't remember.

Expert is hard as hell. My BF managed to beat the game on Hard with 5 stars on ALL the songs...bonus and Set List. He beat Expert (not with 5 stars, but he did it).

He also managed to beat the whole game left-handed...

He's sick. And it's funny because he was the biggest nay-sayer of the series...and now he's the master at it. He finished GH1, too. And he pre-ordered Rocks the 80's. I'm psyched. He'll be going to a friend's house to play it, so I can rock out on it tonight! :super:

Not worth it.
My parents already bought me a boatload of stuff for no reason, no way in hell are they gonna get it for me.
I'd get it myself, but I'm saving up for an XM Radio.

I think I'll hold out for GH3. It's got Weezer and Muse and Foghat and other great bands.
What does GH: 80's have? Dead Kennedys, Maiden, and Priest + bands I don't care about.

@NightWolf: AC/DC won't let anybody use their songs. NOBODY. EVER.
iTunes doesn't even have their songs.

Well, i personally like more of the songs on this one than any other guitar hero. But, being a fan of late 80s rock will do that to you.

Played through the entire set on most of the settings (except Expert)

And am workin on getting perfect scores to get more unlocks.

Gotta say, it is definately not chocked full of goodies like the rest. But eh, I'll still take it. :D

That sucks that AC/DC won't let anyone use their stuff. :(

I picked this up, and I'm really dissappointed.

#1) Songs are way too easy
--I beat normal in one run through each song, 5-starring most songs. In GH2, Normal is currently my level, but I can beat about a dozen songs on hard. No excuses, I love them, but rythem games are not my forte. :o

#2) Too few songs for the price
--there are some great songs here, but also alot of "who are they again?" songs. Also, no bonus tracks to unlock, no new character outfits, only one character unlock, only 5 songs per level, and no Stonehenge level. Lame for a full price game. I should have waited for a used copy.

#3) WHAT THE $^&* DID THEY DO TO MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS??!!
--Judy Nails looks like madonna and Pandora looks like a Pat Benetar/Olivia Newton John mix. Couldn't they have gotten a Lita Ford/Vixen/Runaways look going for the ladies? The guys look alright (think from Poison, Springsteen, and generic punk), but the ladies looks were a crime given their personalities in previous games.

Yeah, it was a real let down. We picked up GH1 and Rocks the 80's this week, and 80's is definitely the weakest of the three. And don't even get me started on the 'singer' they have for Wrathchild...

If there were any Black Flag songs on that, nobody would ever win. Greg Ginn's solos are incredibly complex.

Just my observation
