Hello everyone! I haven't been on much lately because life has been uber hectic. But this weekend I have been able to reserve for myself (for the most part) and am down here in Missouri visiting TA.

Just for the record, I hate Mapquest. When I tried to find out aprox. how long the drive was, the mileage wasn't entirely accurate. For all of your own edification, Hamilton Ontario is aprox. 1300 km's from Missouri, or a little over 1000 miles. Quite the drive.

I arrived safe and sound last night at my generous hostess' new home. As she has posted, she has had some challenges with the new house. Rest assured the plumber did arrive, and TA's plumbing issues have been rectifed for the forseable future.

We are going into St. Louis today, so that I can do the touristy thing, and see the Arch, as well as a few other side trips. I get to meet the parents! I've met the kitties, and that was good.

So I'm going to sign off for now. We'll post some pics later.

I will just say, getting bored while driving with GK in the car is not a wise decision!!!!!

I think my cats like her more than me...

What do you mean you don't like me as much as your cats like me?!?!?! oh wait I just re-read that, never mind. No more cats. Yours are good so that I don't go into complete withdrawl, but no more cats.

Well I got a tour of the area today. We had to make a decision about going to see the Arch today, or Six Flags tomorrow. I think the decision was obvious. SIX FLAGS WOOT!

Well sleep is what is most imprtant now. We'll keep everyone up to date on our adventures, but today was very long, so it will have to wait.

Never, and I mean NEVER!!! use Mapquest. Ever. At my gas station, we have several people -per shift- come in because they are lost from using Mapquest. Mapquest sends you miles out of your way for no reason, and gives you directions for making wrong turns, etc.

And this ends this friendly public service announcement.

I love Mapquest, it keeps the visitation population down ;)

Actually I got a Trip Tick from CAA/AAA, but I estimated the total driving distance based on an earlier search using Mapquest. I am aware of Mapquest's drawbacks, that is why I got the trip tick ;)

Yea, mapquest isn't even close to being reliable. Here is this classic mapquest moment.
