OK, I know it's a very good movie, that's why it is in my queue, but why is there a "long wait' for 'The Right Stuff'??

It's an older movie (1983) about the growth and devolopment of our space agency (NASA).

So, is there just this huge seeking of knowledge in our space program or have recent movies, like Astronaut Farmer, Transformers, and the previews for Cloverfield spiked interest in it?

Maybe we should go to the Kennedy Space center someday. :)

I love my BBV Online, but there is some goofy stuff with them sometimes. I had "The Maltese Falcon" on the top of my queue for over a month and it was listed as "Available". I've still not got it, so I just went and picked it up at the store.

ah the delightful top of the list showing available . . . .
I actually called in and asked about that. Apparently if the DVD is available in the system it does show that status. However if the location of the DVD is a specific distance away it won't mail from that location and they go to the next title on your list.
Example: I live in the Dallas, TX area - the DVD is available in Little Rock, Ak - but they aren't sure how long for it to mail to me - they go to my next title. Keeping the requested at the top until it becomes available somewhere closer to my home

And with the recent test site explosion out here in California it may have fostered more interest in astronaut movies.
