You see, most of the suckiness at my place of work is not with customers (in fact, with maybe about one exception every month or two, the ones I get are very nice and understanding), co-workers (again, with only one or two exceptions) or even management (other than our GM, the asst. managers are very easy to work with and for; I also like the fact that our "first officer" is a fellow baseball card collector). It's the fact that the captalist pigs in our national and regional headquarters get to live in splendor off their over $1.2 billion (yes, that's with a B) while we, the regular workers, must struggle to get by on around $10-$12K a year. Shoot, would sharing a third of that profit to give everyone a $1000 bonus (we have 390K employees) for making that huge profit possible be too much to ask?

Therefore, I propose we have a seperate forum called "Capitalist Pigs in Corporate" for where the suckiness occurs at above the managerial level, as it's not always maangement's fault.

This just screams fratching, and I can see it going very bad very quickly. Hell, even I want to argue about it. If you care to repost it over there, I'll take you up on the chance to argue economics. :)

I don't think it's a good idea either. It can only end in a political flame fest.

Moved to the Site Suggestions section.

In short, it's not close to what we do. It's political, and politics are for Fratching.

Besides, you can always start a coop with an equal pay policy. I work in one. It's awesome!

Sorry, guys, I had no idea there was a suggestions forum here. My apologies. And I don't understand why it has to be political. I doubt political afflilation has anything to do with why some corporations choose to not care about their employees.

And who is this Fratching guy?

For controversial subjects. :)

This is the Fratching of which the mods so often speak. Nobody seems to listen though . . .

It's probably a bad idea just based on the fact that most of the memebers wouldn't have enough stories to make a forum or sub-forum worth the extra space.

I'd say just post any odd stories that occur in the MiM section, as corporate is still kinda managementish, so it fits.
