Congrats on the baby!!!
Yea! I love babies! :D
I think the baby should be born on March 4th. I'm not just saying that because it's my birthday- oh, no! It's a scientifically proven fact that March 4th is the most awesomest day in all of March!
J/K!

Congratulations.
I'm going to be a grandma in about 2 months, so I can understand your excitement.
Best wishes and good luck and good health to all.

OT: I got very confused when I saw this thread at the head of the main board, as I initially thought it was Ree's announcement. I was trying to figure out how she were going to be a Daddy.
Congrats to Crawley.

Good for you!!!
I'm going to give you some wisdom that was given to me(by a mother of eight children and an aunt of about 20-30 children).
If your baby is crying( I mean A LOT of crying) make sure they're fed, changed, burped, and healthy. After that, just let them cry. It sounds harsh, especially if this is your first, but you will thank yourself in the long run for doing it. Even infants learn that you will cater to their every whim and all they have to do is throw a tantrum to get what they want. That kind of behavior will carry on into their toddler years and beyond if you let it happen. And it's hard to fix once you've done it.
I wish you every happiness with your newborn!

UPDATE: We'll the results are in and apparently it's a boy. Ultrasound tech did the John Madden thing and circled his, um, turtle on the screen. I do vow not to beceome "that guy" showing pics of his kid to anyone who's in reach (unless anyone actually wants to see pics and then I'll be happy to oblige).
Anyway, yea me. Go you Y Chromosone (sp?)

Crawley, I hate to say it, but you WILL be that guy that shows pics to everyone. I know, because I vowed to not be that guy either, but guess what??
I think the entire county saw my pictures.
Congratulations!!!
Being a daddy is the best feeling in the world! :grats::salute:
Now just keep your son away from my daughter.:D

You could also try distracting him by putting a radio or CD player in his room and playing some music. That worked for my son when he had colic one night. Around 5 AM, out of desperation, we put on the first Boston album. That did the trick! He stopped crying and lay in his crib, staring at the CD player in wonder. We set it on "replay CD" mode and finally got some sleep! :D

Plus, Boston is just an awesome band. I know my kid is going to be brought up on Skynyrd, Styx, Foreigner, and other great bands. :) (as well as some newer stuff so they aren't totally out of the loop).
EDIT: And Crawley - CONGRATS!

I wish you many sleepless nights, because babies are so amazing the sleepless nights are worth it.
