I've had people asking for site-based clothing on a number of occasions. I've been snooping around a place or two, but so far I've had little success. Cafepress is the obvious answer, but I've had differing reports of their acceptability.

That's why I have this poll. If you would accept Cafepress clothing to help support the site, click Cafepress. If you want me to go for another option, click Other (suggestions welcome). If it doesn't interest you, click Meh.

I don't know much about Cafepress or others, so I'm meh about which to use. I'd definitely think about getting a shirt though.

Er - Meh is for not interested in clothing, not which service. I just want to guage interest.

I've changed Meh to 0 - see if you can vote again.

I know nothing about ordering things like this on line, so I'm afraid I can't offer advice. I would definitely buy shirts if they were available though. I think you should go with whatever is more cost effective for you. Just my thoughts.

I chose Cafepress, but I think it's up to you, Raps.

Now matter what, though, I'd get a t-shirt. Maybe more than one.

I like cafepress too, but I have heard of spreadshirt.com (http://www.spreadshirt.com) if you're looking around to compare features.

My vote is Cafepress until or unless Raps can find somewhere better.

I got my hoodie when Mr Slugger was the boss and its now close to what... 2 years old still in great condition. When I first got it I wore it all the time, now its only rarely because I cant get another one!
I get the best reactions from cashiers when I wear it.... that bug eyed nervous is my supervisor watching laugh... great promotion for the site as well.

One thing to note though, cafepress hoodie sizes are generous, I have a medium and it SWIMS on me. The Decal is still bright and hasnt started to crack yet just so ya know.

Whichever place has a REGULAR style women's tank top. I hate spaghetti straps.

I'd definitely purchase a polo shirt or sweatshirt . . .

As to which one, I'm not sure it really matters from where as long as you can get the best deal.

Rap,

My wife's dog club uses Cafepress. It's not bad stuff. Yes, there can be better but for the easy setup and the cheap up-front costs ($0) it's pretty good.

The hats, bags, and mugs aren't too bad but I have not seen the shirts yet.

Of the sites I visit that have a store option for things like t-shirts and mousepads, Cafepress is almost universally hailed as a great place to start, and reviled as an awful place to stay.

As an example, at least two of the online comics I read dumped Cafepress and went to ZeStuff.com for their merchandising needs.

One of the complaints I used to hear about Cafepress was that their shirts weren't very resilient. As an aside, Cafepress womens tanks have regular shoulders, not straps.

I'd definitely buy a shirt...maybe more than one. Doesn't matter where it is from... I have had decent results with cafe press.

I wouldn't mind getting a shirt, but there will be at least two problems:

1. The price - sorry, more than 10$ is simply unacceptable.
2. Shipping - I live in Poland, sooo...

I have bought a cafepress mug (great), calendar (okay) and polo shirt (too small).

The polo shirt was nice but too small to wear.

I have never bought anything from cafepress. But I will buy a hoodie & a polo shirt. Raps, I would just say to go with which ever is cost effective

I'd love to have Customers Suck! merchandise. I'm interested in a shirt, though I think I would be more enthusiastic about a hat or pin or something like that. In any case, this is an awesome idea.

Not sure that I would buy an article of clothing. But maybe a mousepad or a keychain or something.

No particular opinion on where to get... Would love to get a T-shirt or other trinkets... As a heads up, wherever it comes from, I take a 4XL.

Raps,

I've only ever gotten from Cafe Press, and while it wasn't bad stuff (my wife still wears and loves the long sleeve t-shirt I got her) the sweatshirts were thin. They hold up okay, but mine sits in the back of my truck in case someone gets cold, because I can't stand to wear it as thin as it is.

And they seem to be pricey.

Cafepress is the clear winner on the polls. I'm playing around with it now, but I want to know what you want to buy. I have to set up templates and the like for each item, so feel free to post what you want here (or even PM if you want thongs and want to get my imagination going) and I'll do my best.

Gotta say pins, hats, mugs, and t-shirts (if they can get them in 4XL) would all be on my list for sure. :D

T-shirt(s), maybe a hoodie, a keychain or several, and cards, if you get them. A few people in the customer service area where my mom works would benefit from my generosity.

I'd really like a pin, possibly a keychain. And I love mugs!

Pencil me in as another collector. Keychains are always good. And pins, not buttons. Buttons are ok, but pins are better.

And a long-sleeved shirt for cool weather. And would anyone else want a lanyard?

I don't see the point of wearing graphics where they won't be seen, or won't be appropriate if they ARE seen...

Raps, I run my own site and have been using cafepress for 2 years. I love it! Everything is good quality; the Tshirts are Hanes and nice quality but they do run small. Just make sure to order up one size larger and all is well. My biggest sellers have been the tshirts/sweatshirts and I guess the runner ups would be the stickers and buttons/magnets. The site is extremely user friendly and they cut checks like clockwork each month. The $6.95 monthly fee for the premium shop is peanuts. I highly recommend it.

Count me in on a T-shirt or something along those lines.
