Yesterday, I went to Sams Club to pick up a bunch of stuff. Well, I ended up leaving my keys on the roof of my car, when I got my boys out of their seats and into the cart. Just my keys, nothing else. I went in, shopped for about an hour, paid, and was on my way out the door when I looked in my purse for my keys, but they weren't there. I know they didn't fall out because I would have heard them on the concrete floor or parking lot. So, I thought I must have left them in the car. I figured I would look around before going back into the store to ask if anyone turned in keys. I get out to my car, and there they are- on the roof.
I know that I put them there, because I have made it a habit. My 4yo likes to help and lock the doors (with the power lock on my side) of the car after getting out. Problem is, sometimes he does it to early, and I have locked my keys in the car. I have a spare key in my purse, but on occasion, that has been in there too.
My car could have very easily been stolen-I was in the store for at least an hour, maybe more.
