Half-Marathon Time, or... has Zinjadu lost her tiny little mind?!

It's not enough to be working 2 jobs - I have so much free time and excess energy that I decided to do a half-marathon as well!!!

Don't ask me to equate km to miles cuz I'm not good at that - all I can tell you is a half-marathon is 21.1km or 13 miles.

My fiance and I are both training to run the half-marathon in September, but he has the advantage because he's been running longer than me. I've only been running just over a year, but I seriously have the addiction!

Training is as follows:
Tues very early a.m. - long run at a slower pace - I'm up to 17.5km as of this week
Thurs very early a.m. - 10km run at a moderate speed
Sat eve after work - hill training - run the 3km loop, run up and down the big hill 7 times for another 4.2km, run the loop again for a total of 10.2km
Sun eve after work - 4km fast run

And, believe me, finding time from work isn't easy, especially since it's been so bloody hot and humid here - Tues and Thurs very early mornings are good cuz I'm off from job #2; and I do mean early - I've been getting up at 5 a.m. so I can run by 6:30 a.m. ::shudders:: Even so, for most of July, I felt like I was being boiled alive in my own sweat.

Things have kind of snowballed on me - back in June when I started training, it was easier to find the time, cuz I was running shorter distances, and not hill training (didn't start that until July). Then, in mid July I asked someone at The Running Room for training advice, and was told to add in the fast 4km run also. Aauugh!!! How am I supposed to find the time??? This is also why I don't get a chance to come here to CS very often - no time for much of anything anymore!

I hope to finish in about 2 hours 20 minutes, maybe less. I know I could just go ahead and do it without much training, but I'm competitive and I want to set a good pace, and do my best. So, I keep on training... I've got about 4 1/2 weeks before race day, so hopefully I won't be totally exhausted and insane by then.
