We got a new puppy this week! Her name is Bailey and she is a cavachon, which is a Bichon Frise / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix. She is not quite 3 months old at the moment and is the sweetest thing.

We have another dog, a wheaten, and when we first got her she was such a hassle to crate train. Bailey is a trooper, she'll barely whimper.

Our wheaten, Sophie, is having a blast with her new 'toy'. That is, until she learned that Bailey had spirit. I about fell off the sofa earlier when I heard an odd scritching and looked over to see Sophie backing wildly away from Bailey. Bailey had found my mother's birthday balloons (the mylar on a ribbon kind) and was trotting merrily across the floor. Sophie is scared of balloons so she couldn't get away quick enough.

Here is a picture of our delightful little puppy!

Ooooohhhh!!! <squeals like a little girl> She's a cutie!

My mini Schnauzer was afraid of balloons, too. I think one popped near her when she was a puppy; we had her for 15 years and she never got over it.

I have to stay away from Cute Overload or I get lost in there for hours :)

I go to Daily Puppy and Daily Kitten every day. (The kitten doesn't update until a little after 10 am my time, though.) Now I gotta go to luvmutt too?! :)

What a pretty puppy! How big is she supposed to get? Is she as soft and cuddly as she looks?

I imagine not real big...both breeds are about the same size, aren't they? In the 8-12 pound range, maybe a little more for the CKCS, I think.

Fun Fact: Bichon Frise means, literally (according to Wikipedia) "Curly Lap Dog" :)

Your Puppy is sooooo cute. My cousin had a pup as small as that one she is a husky mix...now she's a big dog that likes to "box" those she knows. She still has her fluffyness and I wish my cousin took pics of when she was a pup and how she is now.

How does one get a puppy and not take pics?! That should be illegal!!

I don't think it's possible.

I got more pictures of the dog (and the now ex-s cats) than I do of people.

hehe, me too. When I went to my friend's wedding I took my dad's camera. He had dumped all of the pics that were on it, except four pics of the cats  (this from the man who "hates" cats)
