With around 15 minutes left until the end of my shift, I noticed I had enough $50 notes to drop the usual amount in the safe. The problem was, 15 minutes later when I counted the till I didn't have enough to make up a float for the next person!
I entered $0 as my final cash drop, and it came up $130 over (i.e. the cash should have been -$130), which was what I expected... still it's kind of embarassing!
