We're playing this game around here and its' kind of fun. It was started when I started watching Earth 2 on YouTube while I'm working (It's okay, nobody minds) on my computer. I had forgotten what a huge crush I had on Clancy Brown as John Danzinger. :o Which is weird, because he's pretty far from being my type. Except that evidently, he's not.

So the game is what CHARACTER...not actor, what character would you love to have a date with if they really existed. You can have more than one. Why do you like that character and what attracts you to them?

I'll start:

Obviously, John Danzinger from Earth 2. What a man. He's big, he's cranky, he's scary. And that voice. Rrrowr.

Tyr Anasazi from Andromeda. Good lord, where do I start. LOOK at him. Also, see above reason. And he's smart.

Mohinder Suresh from Heros- again, smart. Considering who I married, I guess I am seriously into that.

The husband's favorites are Catwoman played by Julie Newmar and "Jeannie's Evil Sister" (we can't remember her name) from I Dream of Jeannie.

Normally I dig blondes, but there is just something about her.....

I'd have to say Teal'c from Stargate. Beautiful voice and eyes, very dry humour, did I mention the beautiful eyes???

John Preston from Equilibrium - that cool, calm and smart persona...*rowr*

Robin Hood from Robin Hood: Men in Tights - um, hello, Tights! and a sword! and a feather in his cap! :)

In no particular order:

Fox Mulder
Angel
Constantine
Johnny Depp (okay, not a character but I had to throw him in there...)

I like tall, dark, broad shouldered, broody men... what can I say? :D

If I was gay:
Loreli Gilmore because I love her sarcastic/intellegent/sharp tounged wit.
Plus, even I can see that Lauren Graham is hot.

Oh, this one's easy!

The ones I'd pick: Rose Tyler from Doctor Who
Sally Sparrow from Doctor Who (she appeared in the episode "Blink" during this year's season 3)
Selene from the Underworld movies (What can I say? Hottest. Vampire. EVER! I'd join the ranks of the undead if it meant having her as my woman! ;))
Eden from Heroes (she's cute as hell, and besides, NO man can resist her... except for maybe Sylar! ;) Too bad she's dead, though. :()
Simone from Heroes (another beauty that suffers from the same problem as Eden... I wish they'd quit killing off the beauties of the Heroes-verse! :()
Dualla from Battlestar Galactica (Oh, how I envy Apollo. That frakker doesn't know how lucky he is!)That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Uncle Jesse from Full House. Oh my legs are shaking!!!

Detective Stabler from Law and Order SVU

You can have Stabler . . . I'll take Munch.

Hey, at least he'd make for interesting conversation . . . conspiracy theories, alien abductions, crazed televangelists.

I'm sure there wouldn't be a dull moment.

Milla Jovavich - She's hot AND she kicks ass!

Alyson Hannigan - Something tells me she's funny as hell in real life too.

Amanda Bynes - The only celeb I met in real life. Met her when I was 15 and she was 17. So now I'm 19, she's 21. She was really nice too.

Tyr Anasazi from Andromeda. Good lord, where do I start. LOOK at him. Also, see above reason. And he's smart.

HELL yes! Agree with this 100%.

I'll also take Captain Jack (Doctor Who/Torchwood), Martha Jones (Doctor Who), Xena, and Han Solo.

(What, me greedy? Nah...)

Loreli Gilmore because I love her sarcastic/intellegent/sharp tounged wit.

That is the same reason I like her also

Okay here's mine in no particular order:

Detective Bobby Goren from Law and Order Criminal Intent. Where do I start? Tall, not conventionally good looking, smart, tough, a little on the odd side. Big hands...

Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs from NCIS. Smart, tough, gorgeous, a little angry, ruthless and self contained. Would just LOVE to start unlayering that particular onion :D

Riley Finn from Buffy. Again, smart, tough, gorgeous, with just enough of that good ol' boy country gentleness to melt a girl's heart.

Dr Gregory House: Smart, ruthless, a little damaged, unconventional, doesn't answer to anybody. Definitely his own man. And a little rough around the edges to keep things interesting.

Okay, some of mine have been taken, like Selene, Willow from Buffy, Loreli Gilmore, but then there's also Dr. Cameron from House, Claire Kinkaid from Law & Order (though she's dead), so many substitute Jordan from Crossing Jordan (same actress, almost the same character, just an ME, instead of ADA), Samantha Carter from Stargate SG-1, and probably a few others I can't remember at the moment. As you might be able to tell, I'm a sucker for the smart ones ;)

Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard. Then or now. But preferably then.
Barbara from One Day at a Time. Okay, I know, these are aging me, but whatever.

Becky from Clerks II - She is cool, smart, gorgeous, funny, gorgeous. That's the kind of woman I am looking for in real life. Good luck there, Knightmare!

Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) from Anchorman - Same as above

Any of the new Doctor Who women sidekicks - can you say "hotties?"

I don't watch a whole lot of television, so my list is a little short.

 I want Bobby Goren too!!!! I think we can come up with an adult & mature solution to that one.

As for the others (in no particular order):

1.) Joxer from Xena
2.) Horaitio from CSI: Miami
3.) Greg from CSI
4.) Warrick from CSI (he's got those GORGEOUS green eyes! *swoon*)
5.) Captain Kirk
6.) Mr. Spock
7.) Herr Eisenheim (from the movie, "The Illusionist)
8.) Ben Wade (from 3:10 to Yuma)

And as for a character from a book:

10.) Sherlock Holmes (He's British! He's a violin player! He's British! He's BRILLIANT! He's British! He's tall and lanky and beautiful. He views the world through seen-it-all jaded eyes. And oh yeah, did I mention that he's British?)

Oh, book characters. (okay, I'm really going to date myself here).

Silver from The Silver Metal Lover. I mean, he's perfect, right? He's engineered that way. ;)

I mean, I'm a straight female, and I read The Silver Metal Lover. If you fit those criteria, then you are madly in love with Silver.

Sidney Carton, as played by Ronald Colman in the 1935 film version of A Tale of two Cities. Straight women and gay men, take note!

Sherlock Holmes is oddly attractive, if you can handle him shooting "V.R." into the wall when he's bored, not to mention the seven-percent solution.

Leopold from Kate and Leopold.

Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice - but ONLY the 1940 film version, in which the character was played by the incomparable, and thoroughly beautiful, Laurence Olivier.

Sir Arthur Granville-Jones from the 1975 TV movie Love among the Ruins. Hard to find, but a truly memorable viewing experience, also with Olivier, who has a mesmerizing monologue towards the end. (I'm thinking of the character as a younger man, keep in mind.)

More to come.
