So, I got this random IM from a guy on Yahell.
I use the same username there as here, so when he said, "You know a little about computers, right?" it was funny.
So, I said, yeah, and then he said he had a problem with Linux. For most techies, that's like saying
"Hey, do you know anything about cars?"
"Yeah"
"Well, I have this question about my motorcycle."
He uses Linux, but the new version doesn't support dial up modem drivers.
Blah blah blah, then I asked him why he was still using dial up.
He says, because it's much more secure, and he can do soooo much more with dialup than DSL. For example, he said, I can find out exactly where your computer is located with my dial up. Can you do that?
I said with the right software I could, then blocked him.
Gah.
